Slavic Experience Festival is more than just a celebration—it’s a movement. The Executive Director of the festival, Aneta Toporowska Lennartson, was a co-creator of Twin Cities Polish Festival in 2008 as a Vice-President of Polish Cultural Institute of Minnesota and a first Polish food vendor at the festival. Subsequently, Aneta had a vision to invite all other Slavic communities in the Twin Cities and created Slavic Experience in 2019. 

As a charitable nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to preserving, sharing, and celebrating the rich traditions, history, and artistry of Slavic cultures. Our mission is to bring communities together through authentic music, dance, cuisine, and storytelling, fostering a deeper appreciation for the vibrant heritage that shapes so many lives.

Through our festival, we create an inclusive space where generations connect, traditions thrive, and diversity is embraced. We believe cultural preservation is vital—not just for honoring the past, but for inspiring future generations. Every performance, every dish, and every conversation at the festival contributes to a greater understanding of Slavic identity and its invaluable contributions to the world.
